👋 Meet Jenae Green, a rabbittransit opening dispatcher in York! Before beginning her journey with us in 2016, she was a lead customer service staffer at a local library. She started with us as a customer service representative and transitioned to her current role in 2019. Jenae starts her day at 2:30 a.m., greeting all of York's drivers as they begin their morning routes. She values the relationships and trust she has built with the drivers, assisting them in navigating their routes smoothly. 🚌 One of Jenae's favorite memories is when her daughter worked at rabbittransit during summer break. Fun fact: Jenae is also a concierge to some of her current and past coworkers, helping them with travel and restaurant plans! 🛫🍽️ Let's celebrate Jenae and extend a big thank you for her hard work during those early mornings! 👏🙌 #InGoodCompany

👋 Say hi to Jason Thone, rabbittransit’s scheduler for Columbia, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder and Union Counties! Jason has been with us since 2016, following our merger with Union/Snyder Transportation Alliance, where he handled finances and occasionally dispatched. Jason spends his day collaborating with dispatchers and coordinating rides to ensure passengers reach their destinations smoothly. He likes seeing where riders are headed and takes pride in knowing he’s making a difference in their lives. One of his favorite memories was a bus ride, when he had the opportunity to experience firsthand what our drivers do and to meet the passengers. 🚌 Outside of work, Jason enjoys collecting physical media and birdwatching. Fun fact: he was born and raised in Minnesota. Thank you, Jason, for helping keep our riders #ingoodcompany! 🙌

🚉 Thankful for Support and Advocacy in Transit 🚉 On Wednesday, an extraordinary thing happened at the state capitol: A dedicated rider and active advisory committee member, Jaritza Nguyen, who relies on our transit services, took the time to join our rally for increased transit funding. Her story is a testament to the vital role that accessible public transportation plays in empowering individuals and fostering inclusive communities. Like many of our riders, she is a person with a disability for whom public transit is not just about mobility but independence. Our services enables her to commute to work, engage with her community, and lead a fulfilling life, something that everyone deserves a chance at. This poignant reminder comes at a crucial time when we are advocating for additional support from our State General Assembly. Investment in transit infrastructure is an investment in people, in productivity, and in potential. By enhancing our transit systems, we can ensure that everyone, regardless of ability, has access to safe, reliable, and efficient transportation options. We are deeply grateful for her advocacy and the stories of all our riders who depend on us every day. If you ride rabbitEXPRESS, you might recognize Josette Hess! 🙋♀️ Before joining rabbittransit as a bus operator in 2014, Josette was a school bus driver and school aide. Her days are now dedicated to safely getting commuters between Gettysburg, Harrisburg, Northern Maryland and York. 🚌 Josette loves that every day is different and can be quite an adventure. One of her favorite memories was all about making the best of a tough situation. During a snowstorm, her bus got stuck in traffic on Route 83, but Josette kept passengers entertained with road trip games! When she’s not behind the wheel, Josette enjoys spending time with her pets, relaxing with friends by the pool and capturing nature's beauty through photography. Fun fact: when she was two years old, she traveled to England aboard the Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth II.  🚢 Thank you, Josette, for keeping our community moving and #ingoodcompany!
