As these change, your PR approach and strategy must also adapt. Who is your existing customer, and who is your target customer? This is a question we always ask prospective clients because A) it helps us get to the heart of their PR strategy, and B) the answers to each part of this question may well be different! There are times when a brand’s marketing and PR strategy is to enter a new market or reach a whole new clientele, so their previous client demographics are no longer relevant. With this in mind, we always ask to see our clients buyer personas (if they have them). Are they targeting women or men? What’s the age range? Where do they hang out?
