Radiance Technologies is excited to award $5,000 to Boys & Girls Clubs of North Alabama through our Radiance Gives charitable initiative. Supporting their Academic Success program, this grant will help address educational imbalances in underserved communities across North Alabama. Boys & Girls Clubs of North Alabama create a safe, supportive environment for youth to reach their full potential. Their Academic Success program provides crucial after-school and summer educational support to over 1,500 children aged 5-18, particularly benefiting communities with limited access to quality educational resources. A couple of our Radiance Gives Board members visited the Cavalry Teen Center, where staff met with them and discussed the impact their work has on Huntsville’s youth. Hearing about their dedicated efforts and the positive changes they're making in young lives was truly inspiring. We take great pride in backing this impactful initiative and eagerly anticipate the positive changes our collaboration will bring to the community. For more information about Boys & Girls Clubs of North Alabama and their programs, visit bgcnal.com. Thank you to Minister Harold Weatherly, Konnye Long, Suzanne Thompson, and Angela Brockman for meeting with us!

His diverse post-military career includes government contracting at the Pentagon and Navy Yard, as well as civilian work with the Missile Defense Agency. “I was excited to join Radiance because I was going back to my roots with the Tomahawk program,” he says. In his spare time, Tad enjoys outdoor activities, especially hunting. He also loves playing golf and hopes to take lessons to improve his game. Welcome to Radiance, Tad Lefor!

We had the pleasure of welcoming guests from industry, academia, and government sectors last night for the SFA Rocket City Chapter meeting. The event provided a great opportunity for our employee-owners and visitors to connect with and learn about the Huntsville High School Space Force JROTC.
Thank you so much to Radiance Technologies for hosting our SFA Rocket City Chapter meeting tonight. Craig Besaw organized a very special event to bring our Huntsville High School Space Force JROTC. Corps Commander Tomas-Lopez, Vice Commander Stallings, and Col Murphy briefed us on their mission to develop citizens of character dedicated to serving their nation and community. What an impressive program and it was clear that the cadet leaders representing the SFJROTC tonight have indeed developed into great servant leaders in our community. Thanks to all who joined the Rocket City chapter tonight!

MSTP’s Deformable Mirrors for HEL Systems Project Achieves Cost-Savings to DoD This August, Radiance Technologies and Active Optical Systems, LLC (AOS) hosted a project Out-Brief meeting in Albuquerque, NM with Manufacturing Science and Technology Program (MSTP) leadership to highlight the successes of their Deformable Mirrors (DMs) for High Energy Laser (HEL) Systems project as it nears completion. Funded by MSTP, the project successfully advanced the manufacturing technology of DMs for HEL systems to provide substantial cost savings for the DoD. The team established a domestic supplier capable of reliable and repeatable processes by implementing advanced performance testing systems, improving critical part inspection tooling, and integrating specialized testing procedures during manufacturing. These advancements enable the rapid and cost-effective delivery of high quality and high performing DMs to the DoD. This success, aligned with Thrust Area 1 of the DoD ManTech Strategic Plan: Advance Manufacturing Technology, ensures DM manufacturing is capable of meeting anticipated DoD demand and future requirements, ultimately enhancing the operational readiness and capabilities of the Warfighter.
