Over the last two months, field engineer Kenrick T. has been busy with the V2 robot in Texas, completing clip installation, concrete inspections, and layout marking. I hosted a Robotics 🤖 happy hour last week in Dogpatch, SF 🐶 with my ACME Capital colleague Alex Fayette. Together with Eric Deng and a lot of ex- Cruise, Waymo network, we brought together a group of 25+ founders, investors, and operators in Robotics. Building a functioning + novel robot is one of the hardest problems out there. Integrating hardware, perception, actuation / manipulation, autonomy + intelligence, all in one native platform is no easy feat. This requires a diverse SWAT team with experts in each field. That's why we wanted to bring together a community of Roboticists that can share their knowledge + experience in tackling some of the hardest (But most interesting!) problems in technology.
