On Monday, October 21st we had our 34th annual charity golf tournament and had an amazing turnout of golfers, organizations, volunteers, and sponsors who all generously supported the Foundation's Fundraiser. These funds play a crucial role in helping us to provide quality of life and reintegration programs for the patients of Rancho. Calling all Rancho patient artists (and/or aspiring artists)! The Foundation and the Recreational Therapy Department are thrilled to announce the return of our featured art classes! We'll be starting off with a Multimedia class led by instructor Alex Fierro (a former Rancho patient). You'll learn how to create unique designs with a variety of materials over the course of two Saturday workshops in October. Space is limited to just 14 participants per session and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis with priority given to new participants. Please keep in mind that this class is only offered to current or former Rancho patients. With that being said however, please feel free to forward this along to any other Rancho patients you may know that would be interested. We want to continue to build our artist network by developing new artists to hopefully one day be featured at our annual art show! Rancho hosted it's first Therapeutic Drumming session today for in-patients! This new program, funded by the Rancho Foundation, allowed patients to express themselves in a fun and creative way through a structured session led by the Wahlbangers Drum Circle Organization.
