This week, Raymond's Senior VP, Guido X. Salas, put his investigative skills to work on a 100-year-old former high school, now Spartanburg Community College's Evans Academic Center. The facility director reported continuing leaks associated with the recently replaced windows. During his building envelope assessment, Guido uncovered that the window manufacturer’s instructions requiring “Weatherproofing of the rough opening, along with the flashing and proper integration of the fenestration product with the water-resistive barrier” were ignored during the window replacement in 2012. Could your facility benefit from our building envelope expertise? Contact us to learn how we can help! #Raymond #BuildingEnvelope

Raymond's team just completed another Building Envelope Forensic Evaluation! Check out Director of Building Envelope, Rupesh Gulati, and his team as they complete blower door testing and infrared scanning to properly diagnose building envelope performance issues for one of our clients. Think you could benefit from our building envelope services? Contact us to learn more about how we can help you! #Raymond #BlowerDoorTesting #InfraredScan #BuildingEnvelopeForensics #AirLeakage #IIBEC #BECx

Raymond's team just completed another Building Envelope Forensic Evaluation. Did you know that building forensics can utilize blower door testing and infrared cameras to diagnose performance issues comprehensively? Blower door testing helps identify air leakage points by measuring air infiltration rates, while infrared cameras visually detect temperature variations on building surfaces. This dual approach allows for the precisely localization of air leaks and insulation deficiencies, addressing energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and moisture intrusion concerns. This approach is beneficial where there are limitations to water testing. Contact Raymond for Building envelope-related issues. #Blower Door testing, #Infra red scan, #Building Envelope Forensics, #Air Leakage, #IIBEC, #BECx
