Claymont McDowell Transportation Center has won the state’s top Engineering Excellence Awards prize! 🏆   The project received the 2025 Grand Conceptor Award at the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Delaware’s annual celebration during National Engineers Week.   The $91 million Claymont McDowell Transportation Center is a major boost to the economic and cultural vibrancy of the community north of Wilmington, DE. This multi-modal hub along Amtrak's Northeast Corridor offers access to trains, buses, walking trails, the East Coast Greenway, sidewalks, and mixed-use paths for pedestrians and cyclists.
