This past weekend, 13 RCP team members and their families took part in the annual 5K Ribbon Run, supporting breast cancer patients and survivors. RCP is dedicated to giving back to our local community and proud to be involved in an event that raises funds for the Liz Hurley Breast Cancer Fund at the Huntsville Hospital Foundation, which provides critical technology and resources for early detection and patient care.

We’ve transformed a vacant space at Plaza at MidCity into a pop-up art gallery, showcasing the works of local artists Jahni Moore and Ase Selah. Their exhibition, Southern Haunts: “Not for The Faint of Heart”, delves into the haunting intersection of Southern folklore and unsettling beauty. Visitors are invited to explore the complex relationship between myth, memory, and the eerie through this thought-provoking collection. Experience the unique gallery Oct 24-26 from 6-9 p.m. https://buff.ly/40AKDnR

The 24th annual WhistleStop Festival at MidCity District delivered an unforgettable weekend! The event featured 55 cook teams that are participating in the KCBS-sanctioned barbecue competition and lineup of live music, including a special moment when Billy Strings and Leftover Salmon swapped stages during their WhistleStop performances. Later that night, Leftover Salmon joined Billy Strings for an epic collaboration at his Orion Amphitheater show. 📸: Jesse Faatz

We recently hosted an intimate pre-show event at The Camp in MidCity Distirct, ahead of the Yelawolf x Three 6 Mafia concert at the The Orion Amphitheater. The event featured JT Loux, an emerging artist under YELAWOLF SLUMERICAN's label, performing his new single, "Daisy," to an enthusiastic crowd in a live-streamed session. Additionally, we were thrilled to welcome Mike Williams and his STEM students from Huntsville’s New Century Technology High School. They engaged with industry professionals, exploring the convergence of music and technology. This event is part of our collaboration with Universal Music Group, AHMET ZAPPA, Nashville’s East Iris Studios, MidCity District, and RCP Companies, fostering an ecosystem where artists and tech unite to shape the future of entertainment. Our vision is to establish Huntsville as a hub for music and technology innovation, creating platforms that support artist growth and new revenue streams through cutting-edge tech. With the support of the City of Huntsville, AL music office, and senior UMG representatives, we're bridging Huntsville and Nashville to redefine the music and entertainment landscape. #MusicInnovation #ArtistDevelopment #Huntsville #Nashville #MidCityDistrict #UMG #EastIrisStudios #RCPCompanies #JTLOUX #STEM #MusicTech Huntsville/Madison County Chamber

We’re excited to watch the progress of Tupelo Honey as it continues to take shape at MidCity District! Known for its upscale-casual Southern cuisine, Tupelo Honey began in Asheville, N.C., in 2000 and has since expanded to 22 locations nationwide, including three in Tennessee. This highly anticipated opening at MidCity will mark the restaurant’s first location in Alabama, adding a fresh, flavorful addition to Huntsville’s ever-growing culinary scene. Tupelo Honey will open by the end of October - more details on that soon!

Jake’s Mews at MidCity is coming to life! Anticipated for completion by the end of the year, this pedestrian-only green corridor just south of Metronome will enhance connectivity and offer a unique experience for all MidCity dwellers and visitors. Last week, we saw the installation of beautiful landscaping, designed to foster community interaction and well-being. With thoughtfully placed trees, modern seating, and well-crafted walkways, it’s a testament to how landscape architecture can transform spaces into sustainable, inviting environments. As our team continues to install paver paths and eco-friendly lighting, we’re excited about the lasting impact this green space will have in creating a vibrant and connected urban community.
