The 3rd Annual Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA Leagues Pelicans Tournament was a day to remember! 🏀 15 teams across the 8U Boys, 10U Boys, 10U Girls, and 12U Boys divisions hit the court, leaving it all out there from the first pool play game to the final championship matchup.Big Red and the Pelicans Cheerleaders kept the vibes going with a Pels T-shirt toss and championship winner photos—making the day even more unforgettable for players and families.Huge thanks to the New Orleans Pelicans for helping create such an incredible experience. When communities face hardship, sports bring people together. Last week, NHL STREET joined the Los Angeles Kings for Skate for LA Strong at Crypto Arena, supporting wildfire relief efforts in greater Los Angeles. At Fan Fest, more than 300 local youth had the opportunity to experience NHL STREET through the LA Kings. With a street hockey rink, skill challenges, and fast-paced play, the accessibility of the game was on full display. No skates, no ice—just play. “Hockey is for everyone, and NHL STREET exists to make the game more accessible, fun, and community-driven,” said Tom Garavaglia, Director of NHL STREET at RCX Sports. “It’s been incredible to see LA come together through hockey.” Huge thanks to the LA Kings for growing the game and creating more opportunities for kids in Los Angeles. This #InternationalWomensDay, we’re proud to celebrate Katie Crumpler—a true community champion who brought soccer to Centreville, Alabama, where it simply didn’t exist. As the Executive Director of BMC Wellness Center, Katie recognized the need for youth sports in her hometown and took bold action. Partnering with MLS GO, she built a soccer league from scratch, giving 128 kids their very first opportunity to experience the game. But Katie’s impact goes far beyond soccer. Her vision is about creating lasting opportunities for youth to grow through sports, building stronger communities, and inspiring the next generation of leaders. Her work is a powerful reminder that one person’s determination can spark change for an entire community. We are proud to introduce a new soccer league for 4th-6th graders in Trenton, working alongside Greg Grant and Mr. Berriel create an exciting and competitive environment for young athletes. This league is made possible through our partnerships with ESPN, Billie Jean King Foundation,MLS GO, New Jersey Youth Soccer, and RCX Sports, and adidas ensuring that players receive high-quality training, structured gameplay, and valuable mentorship. Our goal is to develop skills, foster teamwork, and inspire a lifelong love for the game while strengthening our community. The league includes students from: 🏆 Monument Intermediate School 🏆 Joyce Kilmer Intermediate School 🏆 Thomas Jefferson Intermediate School 🏆 Hedgepeth-Williams Intermediate School 🏆 Ulysses S.
