🌟 Celebrating Nontraditional Careers for Women! 🌟 On Monday, our talented Lafayette - Mechanical Engineer, Madison Cooper, had the incredible opportunity to attend the Nontraditional Employment Women 2024 workshop. 🎉 Madison shared her journey, passion, and expertise with inspiring high school students, emphasizing the benefits of pursuing careers in fields where women are often underrepresented. As she put it, “It was such a good experience to connect with all of the young women there, and I had a fantastic time!” So, what exactly is a nontraditional career for women? These are professions where women make up 25% or less of the workforce. Examples include architects, computer programmers, engineers, machinists, truck drivers, and more.
