A recent study released from the Energy Markets & Policy group with the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory reveals that community solar is making strides in expanding solar access! Key findings include: • Community solar adopters earn 23% less annual income than rooftop solar adopters. • They are 4.4 times more likely to rent and 6.1 times more likely to live in multifamily buildings. • Policy support plays a significant role, helping low-income households and renters join the solar movement. Community solar is proving to be a game-changer, making renewable energy accessible for more households. Let’s advocate for policies that continue to support this growth! #CommunitySolar #RenewableEnergy #EnergyEquity https://loom.ly/-kyJ5yk

Invenergy is partnering with the Chicago Cubs to power Wrigley Field. As part of this partnership, Reactivate will develop community solar projects aimed at generating enough renewable energy to help offset the energy usage of Wrigley Field and select Cubs Charities Diamond Project recipients. This is a significant step towards a more sustainable and energy-efficient future for our beloved Chicago community. By bringing community solar projects to life, we are enabling renters, low-to-moderate income households, and local businesses to access renewable energy and enjoy substantial savings on their electricity bills without upfront costs. At Reactivate, our mission is to drive a just and equitable energy transition, and working with such an iconic brand as the Chicago Cubs strengthens our commitment. We're excited to see the transformative impact our projects will have, not only on Wrigley Field but also on the broader community. #ReactivatingCommunites #CommunitySolar
