At about this time, every year, we get a little sentimental. Category reviews are winding down, holiday travel plans are getting discussed, the kids are prepping for final exams and of course the overall assessment of how the business fared in 2024 is top of mind. So much going on and it always seems to either be at lightening speed OR at a snail’s pace - never, EVER enough in the middle. I had the incredible opportunity to bring my son Joey (#3 of 4:) to the IFPA show as my plus one this year and having him there brought everything into perspective perfectly. When I started Rebel Green in 2009 he was only 6! And now, at 6’5 he’s helping me carry the shippers and putting up the backdrop, bringing me lunch and making me laugh with his stellar wit and charm. So really, there may be transportation delays, cost of goods will fluctuate, retailers and brokers will need onboarding and all that good stuff will happen this year and every year but having that kid with me was for sure the best reminder to stop and smell the roses and enjoy the wild ride. Hopefully Joey will join me again for the PMA’s 2025! #rebelgreen #businessgrowth #q4 #familybusiness #tradeshow

Thank you, UNFI in the Pacific Northwest, for having us in Spokane to participate in promo planning meetings for 2025 this week. How you ended up making promo planning seem like a party, I just don't know. Your teams up there were SO supportive and we had a ton of laughs, especially with you - Dale Baker. I think the laundry sheets were really well received this round, which is exciting for anyone who wants to eschew the plastic bottle debacle. We look forward to continued growth and some new item placements at Atkinson's, Haggen, Inc., URM Stores Inc, Town & Country Markets stores in Montana, McKay's and Pilgrim's to name a few.
