THRILLER IN SARASOTA: PADEL X WINS PADEL CLUB LEAGUE'S AMERICA'S CUP Sarasota, Florida became the epicenter of competitive padel as eight premier clubs from across the country clashed in the America's Cup, the final showdown of the Padel Club League (PCL) by Alovéa, in partnership with the USPA. Teams from Dallas Padel Club, Padel39, Padel X, PATL, Real Padel, The Sports Haus, TAKTIKA PADEL CENTER, and Tempo competed over three days of intense action in the club team format, showcasing the sport's camaraderie, dynamism, and growing popularity. After competitive round-robin group stages, Padel X and The Sports Haus advanced to the finals, where Padel X claimed the championship on sets with matches tied 2-2. Captain Nalle Grinda reflected, “We are thrilled and honored to be the first ever Padel Club League champions!... It has been a great journey for a team that formed throughout the weeks the league was ongoing..." RedPADEL has exciting news about the launch of the #NOVAC #WPR Road to #Miami Circuit! It's a new, transformative tournament series, featuring four qualifying events culminating in the Circuit Finals in Miami at a unique site to be named in the coming weeks. This groundbreaking circuit offers over $65,000 in total prize money, with each qualifying tournament featuring a minimum $10,000 prize pool and USPA 750 status. The series will conclude in Miami on March 27-30 with the $25,000 Circuit Finals. The finals will host 16 Division One Men's Teams and 8 Division One Women's Teams with qualification determined by points earned throughout the circuit. Eight teams have qualified for America’s Cup (#AC25), which will take place at THE PAD in Sarasota on January 17-19, 2025. This event will bring together teams to compete for the title of best padel club team in the U.S. and #Canada. The eight teams are: Net, Padel39, Padel X, PATL, Real Padel, The Sports Haus, Taktika San Diego, Tempo. The America’s Cup is the culmination of the Padel Club League (#PCL) season, an interclub team padel competition in partnership with the United States Padel Association (USPA) which featured 26 teams. Another team has advanced to the #AmericasCup Final. 🏆 Congratulations to Atlanta's pATL! They claimed the victory in #StLouis in a competitive weekend of #padel. After the win, pATL captain Andrew Herring said: 🗣️ "We were thrilled to be there competing. The weekend was great as we had guys who hadn’t been a lot together and just hanging out. It was a really fun experience to put padel in more of a team setting. It was definitely a great feeling to win.” Here are some key details that lie ahead for the PCL: ↗️ The two Miami conferences – Miami 1 and Miami 2 – are halfway through their season. Conference winners will be determined by early December. ↗️ The West Conference will be playing Dec.7 and Dec.8. ↗️ The America’s Cup final will be played Jan 17 – 19 in Sarasota, FL.
