Tonight marked our half-way point of this years ReFi Talents. In the breakout sessions the Talents presented their findings regarding personal regulation, their personal ikigai, as well as dMRV Services and Land-System Change. Next up, the Talents will learn about doughnut economics and carbon credits. Great to see so many motivated people in our sessions! :) A huge thank you also to Elias Ayrey (PhD), our guest speaker for the sessions. In his keynote Elias has talked to us about reforestation, carbon credits and the scalability of carbon projects. His expertise in the different approaches and solutions were invaluable for the talents and the team. Especially interesting was his thoughful and scientific approach to examining regnerative projects around the globe. It was great having you with us! Looking forward to our next session in two weeks! Last night we had session four of our 18-week ReFi Talents journey! Once again, our Talents presented their findings and their assignments in the breakout sessions, getting and giving feedback and learning more about the tokenization of carbon credits. Quite fittingly, we had our guest speaker William ten Zijthoff from Carbify with us last night. In his keynote William talked about carbon debits and dredits, the global carbon standard and social impact. The team and the talents could take away a lot from his speech! Looking forward to our next and fifth session of this cohort!

Listening to their presentations about the circular economy & the real world impact of blockchain has been quite interesting! Next up, our Talents will learn about #tokenization of carbon credits and nature as an asset class. Excited to hear what they have to say! As our guest speaker we had Christian Adler yesterday. He talked to us about the transformative potential of AI in regenerative finance, carbon footprints and his thoughts on technical solutions to the problems the economy is facing. Last night we kicked off with our first session of ReFi Talents cohort 2! Amazing to see so many motivated and ambitious people from all over the world ready to learn and make an impact in the field of regenerative finance. We started off by explaining the program and what the talents have to do. Following that, our mentors and talents had the chance to get to know each other during the breakout sessions. As our guest speaker we had the wonderful Susanne Fromm from Vanagon.vc. Susanne has been a part of Web3 Talents for a long time now and her knowledge and drive has been a great help throughout all programs. In her keynote she talked about the difference between linear and circular economy, her own journey through Web3 and her efforts at the crossroads of blockchain and sustainability. It was great to have you with us, Susanne! Looking forward to the next 18 weeks with our current cohort. Let's make Web3 sustainable!
