This past Friday, the ICSC Retail Real Estate Bridge Program powered by Project Destined sent us students on a site visit to Regency Centers in Jacksonville Florida. During the tour, I was able to learn from Eric Apple, Patrick McKinley, and Rachel Gregorie about the history of Regency Center. I was also able to walk through a couple of active projects that were grocery-anchored centers learning about strategic leasing and sustainable development. Overall one of the best parts was making new connections with everyone in person, and having fellowship with other current and future leaders within the Commercial Real Estate industry. Thank you Eric Apple, Patrick McKinley, and Rachel Gregorie for connecting with us last Friday, and providing us with a hands-on experience with a well-driven company within Retail Real Estate. Thank you Cedric Bobo, Irina Khachatryan, and the entire Project Destined team for coordinating these experiences for us. Also, Kahliyah Wood, Paige Smith, Chad Bryant, Iñaki Guerrero, Jesus Salinas, and Prashiv Chhaganlal I enjoyed connecting with you all and I look forward to witnessing each of your careers within CRE!
