📍 Over 90% of employees reported that the 4-day week positively impacted their well-being, life satisfaction, and work-life balance, according to Germany's largest-ever trial of this work model. 📍 Participants experienced lower stress levels and improved well-being, with many gaining an average of 38 additional minutes of sleep each week and increased physical activity. 📍 Despite working fewer hours, productivity remained stable or improved, challenging conventional views on reduced working hours. 📍 This counters the common perception that shorter workweeks might hinder output. 📍 While the results are overwhelmingly positive, the trial also highlighted some challenges, such as economic pressures that forced two large manufacturing companies to discontinue the 4-day workweek. As a result of this success, several other European countries, including Sweden, France, and Belgium, have already planned trials for late 2024 and early 2025. #futureofwork #4dayworkweek #remotework #remoteLeadership

Qatar has recently introduced a flexible remote work system for the government sector, allowing up to 30% of employees to work remotely, with provisions for working mothers and disabled employees. Our Sunday was well spent for Kasba Ganapati Seva ( service ) organized by The Art of Living foundation. They wanted to clean the Lord Ganesha temple as Ganesh Chaurthi is approaching ( 7 Sep ). Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated with great devotion and grandeur in Pune, Maharashtra, India in reverence of Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles. . 𝘒𝘢𝘴𝘣𝘢 𝘎𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘪 𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘥𝘴 𝘢 𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘗𝘶𝘯𝘦 𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘺'𝘴 𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘮 𝘋𝘢𝘪𝘷𝘢𝘵 (𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘥𝘦𝘪𝘵𝘺) 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘎𝘢𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘩 𝘪𝘥𝘰𝘭 𝘥𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘢𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘩 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘪 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴. Cleaning is considered therapeutic ( in advanced meditation program, they even ask us to think that we are clearing our mind when we are cleaning. ) I sometimes find it daunting to clean house especially when it's closed for long time. But that's the beauty of The Art of Living volunteers, we cleaned the 2 floors of the temple in just couple of hours - that too with so much joy & enthusiasm. I felt very satisfied that I was able to contribute for the Ganesha festival even if in the smallest way possible. The Art of Living values of contribution and service really resonate with me as I believe in leading by example. Volunteering for The Art of Living has made me a better leader and a coach. After all, if I don't practice what I teach, my words would be just hollow. Grateful to Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and The Art of Living foundation for the opportunity to serve Kasba Ganapati 🙏 Ganapati Bappa Moraya ! (I am secretly wishing my mom does not read this as she had asked me to clean her drawer which I have not done yet 😃 ) #GaneshChaturthi #Volunteering #ArtofLiving #LordGanesha

"𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒉𝒖𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒊𝒔 𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑫𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒆." - Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar I deeply resonate with teachings of Gurudev as it truly aligns with my mission to create belonging and connectivity along with high performance in remote teams. Yesterday I had the privilege of attending his program "An Awakening Hour" in Pune where he talked about different types of fire from a spiritual standpoint. It was a light bulb moment for me when Gurudev referred to the "Fire of Knowledge" - Dnyanagni which burns away our miserly. Lack of knowledge is what is causing strife all over the world right now. Wisdom is what we need to preserve the universal love and not let it become bitterness even when we experience setbacks. These quotes from Gurudev make a lot of sense to me as we celebrate "World Humanitarian Day" today: 𝘞𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘢 𝘴𝘶𝘣𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦. 𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦.
