Becky@renuke.com JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ·Performance and documentation of the following in accordance with LLNL and DOE procedures: a. Radiation and contamination surveys of potentially contaminated materials ·Collection of samples to support remediation activities. ·Contamination control surveys of personnel and equipment ·Waste characterization surveys, Department of Transportation surveys, and sampling to support transportation and disposal. ·Experienced working under environmental QA programs; documenting activities, chain of custody, etc. Be able to recognize and communicate to the Site Supervisor, Project Radiation Safety Officer (PRSO), and site workers shortcomings in radiological safety and characterization activities. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS ·Must have medical clearance meeting requirements for HAZWOPER, Be worker, lead worker, asbestos worker, and respirator use. Must have experience with Americium.  ·Must have a CORE CARD ·Minimum of 3 years of documented hands-on experience performing radiological characterization/decontamination, Demolition /Decontamination, or equivalent support. Additionally, personnel must have verifiable DOE Radiological Controls Technician core training consistent with the requirements of Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 835, Section 835.903 (DOE RCT Core training). Also desired is verifiable evidence of training, experience, or a combination of training and experience consistent with the requirements of American National Standards Institute/American Nuclear Society, Standard N3.1 - 1993, American National Standard for Selection, Qualification and Training of Personnel for Nuclear Power Plants (reaffirmed 1999), for Senior Health Physics Technicians; National Certification with the National Registry of Radiation Protection Technologists; Evidence of NAVSHIPS 389-0288, Radiological Controls for Shipyards or NAVSEA 389-0153, Radiological Controls, Article 108, Qualification; or Two-Year Technical Degree in Health Physics or related field. ·Current OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 hazardous waste 40-hour training and all subsequent annual 8-hour refreshers, with no gap greater than 24 months between refreshers. ·Must be able to pass medical clearance meeting requirements for HAZWOPER and respirator use ·Meet LANL access and badging requirements, including COVID-19 restrictions. ·Good communication skills and team participation skills. #SrRCT #RCTjobs #ReNukeServices #DOE #DepartmentofEnergyjobs #contractjobs #Californiajobs #COREcard #HAZWOPER #utilitiesjobs #energyjobs #DDjobs #decommissioningjobs

Relay planner will plan/schedule all activities associated with Relay construction and maintenance. These activities encompass all work inside 13-500kV electrical substations and include developing outage sequence plans, ensuring timely material delivery, submitting outage requests, updating the project team, and planning and tracking the work activities for civil, electrical, and relay crews. Candidates are expected have complex skills and the ability to work with minimal technical oversight and lead construction and maintenance activities scheduling calls of any complexity. The Relay planner is expected to have proficient working knowledge in the calibration, installation, maintenance, and operation of the following: protective relays and associated equipment which will ensure the efficient, safe, reliable, and NERC Reliability Standards to Generating plants, Transmission and Distribution networks. This position will be responsible for planning and sequencing in complex, multiphase relay construction and maintenance activities. Candidates are expected have complex technical skills and interpersonal skills to ensure safe and productive project execution. Candidates will also be responsible for coordinating with Transmission, Distribution, and Generation leadership, and resolve technical issues. Candidates must demonstrate basic computer skills. Responsible to practice and set an example of safe project planning and scheduling. Must possess good communication skills, including working with others to create good working conditions. Support of corporate, group, department and unit goals including compliance with the Duke Energy Supplier Code of Conduct. Self-motivated with good leadership qualities that include good planning and scheduling decision making skills.
