Introducing The Repete Pet of the Month for October: Crys 🐴 Meet Crys, a 34-year-old American Quarter horse who has been a loyal companion and teacher to many over the years. Crys belongs to one of our Repete teammates and is the oldest horse he’s ever cared for. In his prime, Crys had the classic build of his breed—shorter and more muscular than his racetrack cousins, perfectly suited for ranch work and roping cattle. He even won team penning events and served as a pickup horse in rodeos. His full registered name, Crystal Clear Lazy John Henry, reflects his distinguished pedigree. Crys wasn’t just any ranch horse—he was a dependable partner. When doctoring sick calves, he was trained to keep the rope taut until given the cue to release slack, allowing his owner to work solo without needing an extra hand. But Crys isn’t all business—he’s what cowboys call “kid broke,” meaning he’s gentle and trustworthy around children and inexperienced riders. A whole generation of grandkids (and many of their friends) had their first equestrian experience with Crys. With his calm nature, he’s always been a patient teacher. Now at 34, Crys spends his days giving rides to little kids, still offering those magical first-time experiences. In his later years, he’s developed a funny habit—when he’s had enough attention, he shakes like a wet dog! His owner can always see it coming because Crys gives a big sigh beforehand, allowing him to make sure the kid stays seated safely. Fun fact: Crys has been fed Repete-mixed feed for much of his life when he wasn’t out on pasture. He also has a few favorite treats, including horse treats made in a Repete customer’s plant, and watermelon rinds. Despite his impressive age of 99 in human years, he’s still full of spirit and energy. Join us in celebrating Crys, our October Pet of the Month! #PetoftheMonth #PetFoodIndustry #AnimalLovers #PetLovers #Horses #HorseFeed #AnimalFeed

Introducing The Repete Pets of the Month for September 🐾 This month, we’re thrilled to introduce a loving pack of Shih Tzus that have captured our hearts: Bailey, Pippa, Zoe and Bear—a quartet that fills their home with joy, laughter, and plenty of snuggles. From left to right: 𝗕𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘆, 𝟭𝟰: Bailey is the beloved rescue, adopted when she was 6 after being saved from a puppy mill in Arkansas. Despite recent health challenges, including losing vision in her right eye and developing heart failure, Bailey remains happy, playful, and delightfully silly. 𝗣𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗮, 𝟭𝟮: The sweetheart of the group, Pippa’s happiness is measured in face licks! Watch out though, she’s known to reach your nose—or maybe even your brain—with one swift lick. She didn’t get her name from English royalty, though. As a puppy, she was small enough to fit in the front pocket of a hoodie so her name started as PIP (short for "Puppy In Pocket") and later the extra "PA" was added to make it sound even cuter. 𝗭𝗼𝗲, 𝟭𝟳: The oldest and most spirited, Zoe might be the "blue-haired old bat" of the bunch, but she still has some giddy up left in her step, especially when it’s mealtime. She loves nothing more than a good face rub and napping close to her humans. 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗿, 𝟰: The youngest, the boy, and the only mix in the group, Bear is a Shih Tzu-Bichon Frise (teddy-bear mix). Whether he’s being a lover, fighter, alarm, or protector, this pudgy little guy takes his self-appointed roles very seriously—and looks adorable doing it. All four dogs love attention and being close to their humans, often stretching out across the bed at night, making a king-size bed feel just a bit too small. But their family wouldn’t have it any other way, as they can’t imagine their lives without these affectionate companions. Join us in celebrating Zoe, Bailey, Pippa, and Bear as the September Pets of the Month! #PetoftheMonth #RepetePetoftheMonth #Dogs #Petfood #Pets #PetLovers #Feedmanufacturing
