“Securing the possibility of a future after my breast cancer diagnosis by moving my eggs into long term cryostorage lifted an enormous weight off my shoulders. Our eggs were sent to Reprotech for storage, which was another gift of comfort. With our eggs being handled by such a reputable company, we knew we wouldn’t have to worry about the future. While we are still unsure if we will ever use our eggs, it’s an option I am so grateful to have. I would encourage any woman faced with this news to do it; you never know what the future will hold or what you may want out of life after a battle with cancer. Thankfully, I was able to complete my chemo treatments on schedule, undergo a successful surgery, and finish off my journey with radiation.
