Research Impact Hub

We are a hub connecting family and developmental researchers with NGOs and community organizations
About us
>What is "Research Impact" and how does it work? We serve as a hub connecting researchers in the fields of family sciences, gender studies, work-family interface, and related disciplines with NGOs and organizations. Our mission is driven by the belief that science has the power to effect positive change in the world. Many NGOs and organizations lack the resources to fund research or access up-to-date studies. Through our hub, they gain access to high-quality articles and researchers working in their areas of interest. >Do I need to pay to participate? No, the Hub is completely free. We aim to support researchers and organizations. > How can I register for the hub? Simply fill out the form for researchers or organizations on our website, and we will facilitate the exchange of information by sharing the list of researchers with organizations and vice versa. > How will research benefit NGOs and organizations? Research serves as a solid foundation for guiding the work of NGOs and organizations, enabling them to make decisions based on scientific evidence rather than personal opinions. > How will the monthly seminars work? Each month, we endeavor to organize online meetings via Zoom with specialists, NGO members, or senior scientists. These sessions will serve as forums for sharing experiences, exchanging ideas, and delivering lectures that are relevant and interesting to both researchers and NGO members. This monthly format provides ongoing professional development opportunities for our members.

Free Webinar through the Research Impact Hub: Underinvestment in Children’s Policies around the World Presenter: Ignacio Socias Friday, September 6 at 1:00 pm ET We invite researchers and academics to learn about the critical role that early investment in child development plays in shaping societies. This presentation will explore the intersection of evidence-based policy and educational outcomes, offering insights that are both theoretically grounded and practically applicable. Key Objectives: Strategic Imperatives: Delve into the strategic importance of investing in early childhood development, examining it as both a moral obligation and a critical determinant of a nation's future innovation and resilience. Policy Synthesis: Analyze how integrated, evidence-based policies can effectively address systemic inequalities, with a particular focus on equitable investment across the developmental life course. Global Policy Context: Engage with current global policy frameworks, particularly the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 4), and explore the implications of the world’s lagging progress in meeting these targets by 2030. This presentation is designed for those committed to advancing research and practice in human development and education policy. Together, we will explore pathways to a more equitable and innovative future, grounded in robust inquiry and research-backed solutions.
