DevOps adoption has increased the burden on SRE, Infrastructure, Platform, and other central teams. Automation and scalable practices are the best ways to free both developers and the subject matter experts that support them. Travis McPeak writes about examples he saw work at Netflix, some of which inspired him to start Resourcely 👇 . https://lnkd.in/ezpXEaqQ

Lulu Cheng's piece on scaling IaC for the enterprise is spot on 👉 https://lnkd.in/eFfAh-kA You can see how Block was able to scale its IaC adoption in our joint case study: https://lnkd.in/e7EbU6Ut

Build context-driven configuration with Resourcely 👉 https://lnkd.in/eYV-Hn7x When building infrastructure deployment patterns for developers, it is easy to slip into maintaining forks for each unique situation. This can become an unmaintainable headache. Constituent teams (networking, security, FinOps, etc) want to govern configuration for various scenarios, while developers have different circumstances depending on the use case, application, geography, and more. With Resourcely, build conditional workflows that meet everyone's requirements. Gather context from developers, give them the right guidance that meets your expectations, and allow other teams to govern what matters without adding unnecessary friction. Follow along to implement your own policies without adding countless PR reviews👇

Additive Guardrails are 🤯 Most people think of cloud guardrails as being restrictive only: if a rule or policy is violated, don't allow the change to proceed. Resourcely Guardrails can do this, but they can do more - imagine if you could append configuration that you define as necessary, even if it is considered optional by the Terraform provider? Resourcely Guardrails will ADD the critical properties that you define, as Terraform, if they are missing from your Blueprint or Terraform submitted outside of Resourcely. With Additive Guardrails, make sure that critical components are always included in infrastructure configuration: encryption, deletion prevention, data protection, etc.

When the Arc Browser Firebase vulnerability popped earlier this week, we started looking at how you could prevent your Firestore database from being vulnerable. Turns out, most Firestore configuration docs and examples aren't secure-by-default! If you're using Firestore, you should check our rulesets. More information, plus how you can fix & prevent this behavior in the future, here 👉 https://lnkd.in/ekhzg3B4
