We’re grateful for the leadership, hard work, and heart that have shaped Restore—past and present. Here’s to continuing the work and building a world free from trafficking, where every survivor can experience a life of hope, restoration, and flourishing!
Chief Executive Officer @ Restore | LCSW | Leader in the Human Trafficking field | Trauma-Informed Care Expert
I came across this photo from 2016—one of our quarterly all-staff meetings held off-site. At the time, this was our entire team. Looking back, it’s incredible to see how much we’ve grown since then. When I first started at Restore NYC, we were a small but mighty team of fewer than 20 people. Over the last nine years, I’ve had the privilege of watching this organization expand and evolve in ways I never could have imagined. But through all the change, one thing has remained constant: our commitment to the mission and to each other. We wouldn’t be where we are today without the dedication of those who came before us—laying the foundation, shaping the culture, and setting the vision for what Restore could become. I’m incredibly grateful to have learned from and worked alongside such remarkable people. To everyone who has been part of this journey—past and present—thank you. Restore stands strong because of you. #Gratitude #Teamwork #Leadership #Restore #ThenAndNow Rachel Larson Jayme Amanda Eckhardt, Ph.D. Peiyi Woo Jimmy Lee Chris Muller-Tabanera Lauren (Culbertson) Fang Jonathan Carral Ran Hu Beisi Huang, LCSW Emily Ward, MSW Suzi Chun-Turley Elizabeth Kim Abby Mento, LCSW, PMH-C Nellie Choi (최나리)

On Tuesday, our CEO, Beck Sullivan, LCSW and Restore’s Board Chair Dorthe Tate, joined New Yorkers for the Equality Model in Albany to advocate for the Sex Trade Survivors Justice & Equality Act (S2005/A1465)—a bill that holds exploiters accountable, protects survivors, and expands critical services. This bill directly opposes legislation that would fully decriminalize the sex trade, increasing the risk of exploitation. We’re grateful to the survivors and advocates who spoke in support of this bill, including Ashley Judd, Melanie Thompson, and Cristian Eduardo, and to the many organizations and advocates who joined us throughout the day in meeting with assembly members and senators to share the importance of this legislation. At Restore, we believe policies must prioritize survivor well-being, access to meaningful resources, and accountability for those who fuel exploitation.
