About us

This program was developed by Mike Logan who is the founder of a successful California based foster family agency. Other recruiting systems have been created based on generic marketing concepts. This program has been field tested over time and comes from the experience of an effective recruitment team and the expert knowledge of an executive director who is a foster-adoptive parent himself. Mike is a recognized leader in the field of foster care recruitment. He is engaged in the fight for better services with state legislatures and is frequently asked to teach and train in regional and national venues on the subject of effective recruitment. Much like Michelangelo, who saw the hidden figure within a block of marble and meticulously chiseled away the excess to reveal stunning sculptures, foster parents possess the incredible ability to see the potential in every teen they care for. Michelangelo famously said, “Every block of stone has a statue inside it and it is the task of the sculptor to discover it.” Similarly, foster parents see beyond the surface and see the ‘diamond in the rough’ when it comes to teens in the system. Just as Michelangelo worked tirelessly to uncover the beauty hidden within marble, foster parents invest time, patience, and love to help teens flourish. With the right support and guidance, these teens can transform into vibrant, successful individuals. As recruiters, our role is to help potential foster parents see this potential. By showcasing the transformative power of foster care and providing the necessary support, we empower them to become the sculptors of futures, unveiling the beauty and potential within every teen. As recruiters, lets commit to honor the work of foster parents and guide them in their vital role of making a lasting impact. #FamilyRecruitment #FosterCare #FosterFamilyRecruitment

FACT: Community engagement is a game-changer when it comes to recruiting foster parents for teens. Here’s how to make a meaningful impact: 1️⃣ Host Local Events: Organize community events or workshops to raise awareness about the needs of teens in foster care. This creates opportunities for potential foster parents to learn and connect. 2️⃣ Partner with Local Organizations: Collaborate with schools, youth organizations, and local businesses to spread the word and build a network of support. 3️⃣ Leverage Social Media: Use local groups and platforms to share stories, testimonials, and information about fostering teens. Engaging content can spark interest and action. 4️⃣ Invite Community Leaders: Get influential community figures involved in advocating for teen placements. Their support can amplify your message and reach a wider audience. By actively involving your community, you not only boost your recruitment efforts but also build a stronger support system for the teens who need it most. 🌟 #FamilyRecruitment #FosterCare #FosterFamilyRecruitment
