Our STREAM Director, Ms. Kristen Wright created this STREAM website to show to RCS Community about the activities that the students are doing during the week in the STREAM Lab/Makerspace. https://lnkd.in/giH276yt What is STREAM? STREAM is the integration of the disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics. There is a heavy focus on developing 21st Century learning skills, such as innovation, creativity, respectful and effective communication, collaboration and digital literacy. The students learn to be real-world problem solvers with the confidence to take on challenges and persevere in any task that is presented to them. Perhaps most importantly of all, STREAM offers an environment where students are not afraid to fail, because they know they learn from their mis-steps.
