An Emmy Award-winning independent, nonprofit news organization giving context and perspective on today's news
About us
Retro Report is a non-profit news organization that produces mini documentaries. We look back on the biggest stories from the past to see how they affect today's news – and we like to think of ourselves as counter balance to the hectic 24/7 news cycle. Retro Report has covered a broad range of topics including the Tawana Brawley scandal, the Jack in the Box E. coli outbreak, the creation of Napster, the MMR vaccine controversy and the infamous McDonald's hot coffee lawsuit. Our stories are distributed on our website, as well as partners such as The New York Times, PBS Frontline, The New Yorker, STAT, Politico, PBS American Experience and many others. Since Retro Report premiered on May 6th, 2013, we have produced more than 100 stories.
