Last month, our onsite team at The Armature welcomed local artist Jenny McGee Dougherty for an evening in the community's courtyard. One of the artists featured throughout the building as part of The Armature's art program, Jenny, led residents and guests on a guided collage session. After acquiring the historic Schlotterbeck & Foss Building in 2016, Reveler embarked on extensive restorations to transform it into 117 Lofts. The renovation preserved renowned architect John Calvin Stevens' distinctive Art Deco detailing, a landmark since 1927, while introducing contemporary amenities. Last month, Reveler's President and CFO, Tom Watson, joined Creative Portland for their 5th Biennial Arts & Culture Summit. The Summit brings together Portland's art community with local stakeholders to explore ways to enhance Portland as a hub of creativity. Tom joined a panel with Alison Hildreth (Artist), Sean King (Portland Public Art Committee), Ashley Page (Artist & Indigo Arts Alliance), and Chris Thompson (Thompson's Point) to discuss public art initiatives in Portland.
