(Hungary) and KickSky Space Lab (India) have officially signed an MoU to strengthen global space sector cooperation. 🌏 This partnership will: → Support Hungarian space startups through KickSky’s accelerator, helping them scale internationally . → Open doors for Indian startups to access Europe’s advanced space infrastructure through Infotér. For over four decades, Hungarian and Indian astronauts have explored space. Hungarian-made technology has even played a role in India’s historic Moon 🌕 and Mars 🪐 missions. Now, with Hungarian and Indian astronauts set to fly together to the ISS, this collaboration is expanding to the next level. This milestone was made possible with the support of Riceberg, which played a key role in facilitating this partnership. A special thank you to Riceberg Founders Ankit, Lino, Shubham and Mredul who have been instrumental in bridging the two ecosystems as a partner for the KickSky team. We also extend our gratitude to Péter Kristóf, PhD for his invaluable support and involvement in making this collaboration a reality. His commitment to welfare and prosperity through science and technology continues to inspire and drive meaningful innovation. The agreement was signed at the prestigious Raisina Dialogue in New Delhi, following a bilateral meeting with Peter Szijjarto, Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade🤝. A huge thank you to everyone who is involved—Sree Lakshmi, Govindarajan D S — and our long-time Infotér colleague and Secretary General, Albert Biró 🙏. The future of space is global. 🌏 An Inspiring Evening at the St. Gallen Symposium India Reception The St. Gallen Symposium, in collaboration with Godrej Industries Group, hosted the India Reception at the Godrej Headquarters in Mumbai, bringing together leaders, investors, and next-generation thinkers for an engaging discussion on India’s role in sustainability. This event, organised by Carl Stefan Schreiber, served as a key milestone in the lead-up to the 54th St. Gallen Symposium, fostering dialogue on how India is shaping the global sustainability agenda. A special thank you to Nadir Godrej, Chairman of Godrej Industries Group, for his warm hospitality and for setting the tone with an inspiring poem on sustainability. Moderated by Giridhar Sanjeevi, former CFO of Indian Hotels and CEO & Founder of Banyan Tree Partners, the panel explored the intersection of sustainability, technology, and investment, with insightful contributions from: 💡 Nadir Godrej, who illustrated how Godrej Industries is driving sustainability not just for economic growth but also for societal impact. He also shared perspectives on carbon markets, advocating for a carbon tax as a meaningful step towards pricing emissions correctly. 💡 Mredul Sarda, Founding Partner at Riceberg Ventures and an incoming Leader of Tomorrow at the 54th St. Gallen Symposium, emphasized the need for cost-effective technology to drive sustainable solutions. He highlighted the importance of government incentives to accelerate green innovation and shared how an early-stage student project evolved into a satellite initiative ahead of NASA, proving the economic viability of sustainability-driven technology. 💡 Giridhar Sanjeevi underscored the crucial role of large corporations in driving sustainable change, pointing out that investors and pension funds are increasingly prioritizing companies with strong sustainability KPIs. He also highlighted the regulatory push that is accelerating corporate sustainability efforts. The discussion reaffirmed that solar energy is rapidly expanding in India, and innovations in sustainability are gaining momentum. While change takes time, systemic shifts in common business practices are underway, signaling a transformative era for sustainable growth. 🌟 A special thank you to our additional speakers: 👏 Parneet Kaur 👏 Florin Müller 👏 Beat Ulrich Your contributions added valuable perspectives to this important conversation. A heartfelt thank you to all our speakers, engaged guests, and valued partners for making this event a success. Your insights continue to shape the global dialogue on sustainability. Let’s keep pushing forward—towards a more sustainable and impact-driven future. 🌱 Hopefully, see you again in May for the 54th St. Gallen Symposium in St. Gallen!

Riceberg at Indiaspora's Forum for Good: A Week of Inspiration and Collaboration Last week, our Founding Partners, Ankit and Lino, had the privilege of attending Indiaspora Forum for Good, an event that brought together Inspiring Leaders, Entrepreneurs, and Changemakers from across the globe. The most powerful aspect of the event was the opportunity to connect and engage with like-minded individuals who share a deep-rooted passion for creating positive change while staying connected to their Indian heritage. Key Takeaways and Highlights 🚀 Learning from Industry Leaders: Ankit had the chance to meet inspiring figures such as Kris Gopalakrishnan and Anand Deshpande, visionaries who have built multi-billion-dollar businesses while maintaining unparalleled humility - a trait that continues to inspire us at Riceberg. 💡 Alignment on IP and Innovation: A major highlight was the discussion on India's need to invest in intellectual property (IP) creation. Industry leaders emphasized the importance of focusing on deep tech and innovation - a vision we share at Riceberg Ventures. The next leap forward will come from cutting-edge innovation and homegrown technology solving both local and global challenges. 📈 Riceberg’s Startups in the Spotlight: It was a proud moment to see startups from our investment portfolio, such as Manastu Space and Ethereal Exploration Guild, already being recognized by prominent business leaders like Sunil Kant Munjal. The acknowledgment of these startups at the event reinforced the impact that Riceberg-backed ventures are making in the deep tech ecosystem. 🌍 Exploring Cultural and Technological Synergies: Beyond business, the event also provided an opportunity to experience cultural unity. Visits to the #SheikhZayedMosque and #BAPS Temple in #AbuDhabi symbolized the growing multicultural harmony in the region. 🤖 AI for Impact: One of the most compelling conversations centered around the role of AI in driving positive change. Rather than viewing AI as a threat, the discussions emphasized AI as a powerful tool to solve real-world challenges. From legal tech solutions like Adalat AI (tackling India's 50M+ pending legal cases) to Karya AI, which leverages AI for social good by creating jobs. 🏆A Memorable Interaction with Nobel Laureate Kailash Satyarthi: Meeting Nobel Peace Prize winner Kailash Satyarthi was one of the most inspiring moments of the event. His story of taking a selfie with himself upon winning the Nobel Prize was a reminder that self-belief and perseverance are key to achieving greatness. The event's last day was focused on AI and was hosted by the DUBAI FUTURE FOUNDATION at the Museum of the Future in Dubai. A big thank you to Indiaspora for organizing this phenomenal gathering. The future of Indian innovation is bright, and we at Riceberg Ventures are excited to be part of this journey. #RicebergVentures #Indiaspora #DeepTech #IPCreation #Indiaspora #ForumForGood #AIforgood
