  • IN-SPACe is glad to announce signing of MoU with Semi-Conductor Laboratory (SCL), Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, to collaborate for the development of indigenous semiconductor design and manufacture capability among the Indian space industries. Through this MoU, we aim to empower Indian space industries, start-ups, and academia by fostering skill development and promoting innovation in semiconductor design and manufacturing. India’s local capabilities shall be leveraged to strengthen the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem. This collaborative endeavour is a step towards realizing self-reliance in space technology, contributing to the nation's broader technological and economic goals. It will also offer an opportunity to test and fly indigenously developed SCL products viz. processors and electronics, etc. on the NGE mission. The development comes amidst recent space sector reforms and wider participation of private sector in space activities. We are confident of bringing significant changes in the domain of indigenous semiconductor design and manufacturing. Pawan Goenka

  • The Indian space sector is poised for significant growth, with the potential to generate $44 billion in revenue by 2033, contributing ~8% to the global space economy. This ambitious goal requires a substantial investment of ~$22 billion to drive innovation, expand manufacturing capabilities, and accelerate the development of new space technologies. To foster this growth, IN-SPACe, in partnership with IIMA Ventures, is launching "InveSt Space," a unique platform designed to connect promising space-tech startups with a network of over 50 carefully selected Indian investors. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between the sector's vision and the necessary investment to realize its full potential. To facilitate access to finance "InveSt Space is being held on January 17, 2025 from 11:00 AM at IIM Ahmedabad New Campus, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Who should attend InveSt Space: 🌌 Gain insights into the global and Indian space economy. 🚀 Explore segments like Launch Systems, Satellite Manufacturing, Ground Stations, Space Applications, and In-orbit Services. 💡 Learn from early investors’ perspectives on the space sector. 🤝 Network one-on-one with investors and VCs eager to explore opportunities in space-tech. Join us at this unique event to build strong partnerships and drive the growth of India’s space sector.
