This is likely the final post for Ride Report, the company, but please stay tuned for more updates on Ride Report, the product, as part of INRIX The integration of Ride Report into the broader INRIX set of city focused solutions has exceeded our greatest expectations when we joined them. The Portland Bureau of Transportation SMART grant, in particular, will bring exciting new logistics data visualizations into the Ride Report platform and we look forward to expanding the shared mobility program management capabilities to the broader set of curb and street right of way users. Couple these initiatives with INRIX's vast trove of connected vehicle data, and we start to see a comprehensive and powerful platform that can help cities achieve goals of equity, sustainability, and economic development. The future is bright for our team, our product, and city agencies looking to take digital management into the next phase. Thank you to our wonderful customers and partners who have supported us over the years. We look forward to continuing our work under the INRIX logo.

INRIX is excited to announce our latest INRIX IQ application built for cities: Curb Analytics, the only curb management product with citywide inventories ready to be used in 125+ cities globally. This tool leverages historical, real-time, and predictive data to understand occupancy and efficiently manage curbs for parking, deliveries, micromobility corrals, and public transportation. “Whether curbs are being used for parking, deliveries, ride hail, outdoor dining, bike lanes, bus lanes, or countless other utilizations, they’ve become one of the most valuable real estate assets managed by cities,” says INRIX's Ahmed Darrat. INRIX Curb Analytics is immediately available in more than 125 cities worldwide to analyze the impact of new curb-focused infrastructure projects stemming from SMART Grants. It is set to be utilized first by the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) and the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) as part of their federally funded SMART grant projects. Be sure to read the Curb Analytics press release here for more information: https://lnkd.in/dE56XkGE #INRIX #CurbAnalytics #SmarterSaferGreener #FutureOfTransportation #Innovation

Big news - we're being acquired by INRIX! I'm so proud and appreciate of the amazing team at Ride Report, our customers, our partners. You all are amazing. It is your passion, dedication and talent that got us here. I also want to share a few words about what this means for our mission. How does merging with the leading provider of automobile data and insights fit our focus? First, in case you need a reminder, we launched Ride Report (almost 9 years ago!) with the mission of accelerating the transition to more sustainable and efficient transportation. We were among the first to see the explosive potential of electric micromobility, which became our singular focus. Our tools quickly became an industry keystone, helping customers and partners evolve a messy and disruptive force into a resilient transportation solution that has delivered unimagined results on our climate and equity goals. As electric micromobility matures, it must now scale and become better integrated with legacy transportation systems. This is the next phase of Ride Report’s mission. That’s why I am so excited about this merger. Together, our companies now have the data, integrations and vision to deliver a comprehensive solution for cities to manage the entire right of way. Using our combined solutions, cities will finally get electric micromobility out of the sandbox. And they will finally be able to leverage the data, insights and curb management technologies of electric micromobility in other transportation systems. This is a huge step forward for our mission, our industry and our cities. Way to go team!

    Product Leader + Advisor

Some news: I am very excited to announce that Ride Report is joining INRIX! As a global leader in transportation data and analytics, INRIX is at the forefront of the evolving multimodal transportation ecosystem, which spans from automobiles to eBikes and AVs. This marks a significant step towards enhancing our capacity to offer comprehensive multimodal insights and innovate in product development for Ride Report's government customers worldwide. Reflecting on the past 5.5 years (& a few gray hairs later), it's been an absolute hell of a ride. The technical, market, and the macro-economic challenges were plenty. We've navigated through the surge in ridehailing, the rise of micromobility, the upswing in delivery, the challenges of COVID-19, and many other transformative moments in the mobility and government sectors. This acquisition is not just a milestone for our team but a testament to the hard work and dedication of our customers and partners. (link below)

Building the Digital Right of Way Ecosystem

I am beyond excited to be able to finally share news about this little project I have been working on. 😉 I just passed my 7 (7!!!!) year anniversary at Ride Report, joining as the first employee who knew a lot about transportation planning and policy, but very little about tech, data standards, and startups. I joined because William Henderson and Evan Heidtmann had a vision to provide the public agency staff who create more sustainable infrastructure with data at the same level as those who build facilities for cars and trucks. Many years and countless hours of hard work later, I have never felt more hopeful about achieving that vision. INRIX shares the same vision of providing the best data for decision-making, and I have loved talking with Bryan Mistele about how to integrate better shared mobility data with their industry leading products. Couldn't be happier to land on the team led by Ahmed Darrat (does anyone have anything bad to say about that guy?!). As soon as we started talking, we began sparking ideas left and right for what we could do together. Let's go start some fires! So many lessons and feelings I would love to share about raising a startup baby, but right now I am primarily feeling gratitude. There are so many people to thank, this could start to feel like an Academy Awards speech. In addition to the co-founders above, Ride Report would not be where it is or have this opportunity without the amazing staff Kory Young Nelle Pierson Li Poltorak Brian Grass Marcel Voelz Arohan Dutt michal nakashimada. Former employees: I see you too. Ride Report has always been a customer obsessed company, and we would not be anywhere near where we are today without the amazing ones I have had the pleasure of working with. I am ecstatic to have a long term home for Ride Report's product and staff to be able to continue working with many of you. Out of fear of leaving anyone out, I am only going to tag our original PBOT duo, Steve Hoyt-McBeth, who took a chance on us as a first customer when William didn't have much more than an idea, and Jacob Sherman, MBA who has been a true partner in all senses of that word in building the platform over the years. I owe William for a lot of things, but near the top of the list is picking the best investors a startup CEO could ask for, including Satya Patel Sandhya Hegde Julie Lein Hunter Walk Clara Brenner amongst others. Thank you for your wisdom and guidance. Finally, I want to give a shoutout to some advisors that helped Ride Report in this most recent phase to get to this announcement. This was my first rodeo, and I was blessed to work alongside some real veterans Jordan Sanders Touraj Parang Ryan Russo Adam Yeatts Josh Cohen Come talk with me and Ahmed about our new combined team and offering at the Open Mobility Foundation summit and CoMotion conference this week or feel free to reach out separately.
