The highlight of my week in #Tokyo thus far has to be the insightful round table discussion I participated in representing (Rimark) at Japan FinTech Festival. Absolutely thrilled to have represented the U.S. and California on a Trade Mission in the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving. Organized by the U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. Commercial Service, and International Trade Administration, this fintech journey brought together 10 esteemed companies, including Rimark, to engage with leaders in fintech, banking, regulation, and policy across Asia. Our stops included #tokyo, #seoul, and #singapore, where we also attended the Singapore FinTech Festival. The experience was invaluable, affording us a rare opportunity to cultivate relationships in international markets and showcase Rimark's commitment to U.S. #blockchain and #fintech thought leadership and innovation. Heartfelt gratitude to the Commerce team, especially Gemal Brangman, Vincent Tran, Peter Sexton, and Paul Thanos, for orchestrating this pivotal mission. Wrapped up my trip to Singapore Fintech Festival! Together with the U.S. delegates participating in the U.S. Fintech Mission to Asia, we have had an incredibly productive time in 🇸🇬 brimming with exciting opportunities and explorations. Our journey has been carefully curated thanks to USCS Singapore, offering a guided on-site tour, engaging in on-the-spot meetings with tech ventures across the globe, attending a networking reception at The American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (AmCham Singapore), embarking on off-sites visits to Mastercard and Bank for International Settlements – BIS, all while receiving a comprehensive briefing from Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). These experiences have given myself an invaluable opportunity to gain insights into the development of #Fintech in Singapore.
