💎 Full Circle Moment 💎 In the summer of 2021, I had my first internship opportunity with RISE, a national nonprofit that educates and empowers the sports community to eliminate racial discrimination, promote social justice, and improve race relations. This was my introduction to the sports industry, and that experience profoundly shaped my academic journey. It was then that I realized I wanted to pursue a career in athletics. Now, in 2024, with two degrees behind me, I’ve had the chance to work with my former managers/mentors, Scott Koenning and Andrew, on two RISE-partnered events during my time with the Seattle Seahawks. Both the 12s Vote Workshop and the ongoing Game Changers sessions have been executed flawlessly. I’m incredibly grateful for this full-circle moment. #workinsports #RISE #NFL #Seahawks #Vote

A new Title IX Plaza celebrating women in sports was recently unveiled at the Dexter-Huron Metropark and I AM PART OF THE EXHIBIT!!! I am so very humbled! This has been my life's work and passion and being acknowledged for it in such a permanent way has left me speechless! I am among a class of women who are pioneers and I am grateful that I was considered for this project.
