Joshua Michaels, a second-year marketing student, and his team have been honored with the inaugural Ramsey Family Innovation Award for their startup, OnCall—an Uber-like platform that connects nurses with healthcare facilities in need! 💡 The award, established by James and Susan Ramsey, provides financial support and mentorship to help student innovators like Joshua and his team bring impactful solutions to life! 🙌 Inspired by his mother’s challenges in healthcare staffing, Joshua said, “It’s a blessing to receive this award from them,” Michaels said. “It’s weird, but I’ve felt this connection with James and Susan because the idea for the award came from the experiences of their daughter, and the idea of OnCall came from the experiences of my mother. So, it’s like this notion of uniting and uplifting our families to bring us together.” 💭 It’s inspiring to see the outstanding work of this innovative team recognized with the Ramsey Family Innovation Award—congratulations! 🎉🐅 Read more about their entrepreneurial journey here: https://lnkd.in/gz-tftY4
