Starting Fall 2024 with our spotlight, Lee Dumaliang. Lee joined Rite-Solutions in December 2020 as a Software Engineer. Lee has been a great addition to the Engineering team and the office, he always has a smile on his face!  Let’s get to know him! What are your hobbies? My main hobbies revolve around triathlon: running, biking, and the bare minimum amount of swimming just to stay afloat. I initially got into triathlon due to a Rite-Solutions company fitness challenge. The challenge required each person to choose two activities, and I happened to go with running and biking, even though I hadn’t taken either of them seriously in the past. At the end of the challenge, I decided to round out the trifecta and sign up for a triathlon. I’ve been hooked ever since. What is a favorite pastime? Camping is my favorite pastime. There’s nothing better for me than being in the woods, sitting around a fire, and waking up in a sleeping bag to the sound of birds and a beautiful sunrise. For the past 13 years, I’ve been going on a yearly camping trip with my best friends from high school, and it’s easily the highlight of my year each time. Which company values resonate with you the most? Being a part of F.E.W. has always been evident during my time at Rite-Solutions. From starting as an intern up to my current position, I’ve consistently been able to communicate with every level of the company and have had numerous opportunities to grow my career. I’ve also formed amazing friendships with teams I’ve been a part of, and Rite’s culture has played a significant role in that. Who or what inspired you to pursue the career you have today? My career in Software Engineering was actually accidental but welcome. In grade school, I always knew I wanted to go into engineering, but I thought I’d focus more on the mechanical side. When I arrived at Old Dominion University, my freshman engineering classes explored all available engineering disciplines. I chose Modeling and Simulation Engineering because it was the only undergraduate program in the world for that discipline, and I believed it would provide a unique experience. Modeling and Simulation gave me the experience to participate in an internship at Rite-Solutions and in turn a full-time position immediately upon graduation. I’ve worked at Rite ever since and have been a part of many amazing teams through the years. Keep up the great work, Lee! #FriendsEnjoyingWork #Triathlon #EmployeeSpotlight Lee Dumaliang

We are thrilled, for the third time in a row, to receive Great Place to Work® certification! Over 24 years ago, Rite-Solutions was founded on the belief that we are of One of F.E.W. (Friends Enjoying Work). That belief is central to our award-winning culture today!

Our August 2024 Employee Spotlight is Emilie Verbridge. Emilie joined the team in September 2018 as an AP Specialist and now our out AP Manager. She has been paramount in the accounting operations and is a cultural advocate, always planning events to enhance the team and company culture! Let’s get to know her!   What motivates you? Having people in my life that provide a solid foundation for me to pursue my own passions. My family, Rite, both give me that strength and support to strive to do my best in what I believe in. That being said, I very much believe in a great party - and Rite has not let me down yet! What is a favorite pastime? Very easy, my favorite place to be is the boat/beach. We live in a great area – southeastern CT and the RI coast. I make the most of our very short warm weather season. You can find me out on the water every chance I get! What company values resonate with you the most? The Culture of F.E.W. is the value that resonates with me. I work in the CT office and remember very well the first few months learning our system and processes. It was very intense most of the time, but throughout the day on occasion I could hear laughter. I would think to myself – that is what I want – its amazing to share the same ethics and be compatible with people you work with, so much that its enjoyable and are able to have a laugh. I played a D1 sport in college and it was very much the same, I immediately felt like I was part of a team and knew I was in the RITE place. What is working at Rite-Solutions like? I was hired in 2018 and was getting my bearings, learning all I could at Rite, there were about 175 employees and it was great – hard work, but I loved it. Then COVID hit, we were still going – actually GROWING – and again, loved it but hard work. We were able to adapt, meet everyone’s needs and be successful. Flash forward to today, we now have about 450 employees with the same emphasis on values and culture. I enjoy it every day. My job is more employee focused than customer and being one of the F.E.W. really makes coming to work enjoyable. #FriendsEnjoyingWork #EmployeeSpotlight
