Rivers are Life has proudly partnered with Trout Unlimited as the official cleanup partner for TU Expeditions for five years. Each summer, students embark on 10-day trips that inspire staff and volunteers to advocate for and restore affected lands and waters. Rivers are Life emphasizes the importance of keeping rivers clean. Cecily Nordstrom, STREAM Education Manager at Trout Unlimited, shares, “Trout Unlimited is thrilled to partner with Rivers are Life to educate and empower the next generation of river conservationists. Since 1998, Chad has championed the belief that every individual can make a difference through hard work and dedication. Now, he's passing that belief down to hundreds of students who participate in his river cleanup programs every year. While many college students look forward to spring break as a time to relax and unwind, a dedicated group heads to Tennessee to spend their time making a positive impact. They live, learn, and clean up our precious waterways from a conservation barge, showing us all how small actions can lead to significant change.
