We had an inspiring time on Capitol Hill this week advocating for the future of public transit in Riverside County! For the first time, RTA and RCTC combined forces to represent a stronger presence while meeting with key policymakers in Washington, D.C., driving conversations surrounding things like driver safety and funding for enhanced security. The team, which included RTA Board Chair Jeremy Smith, Riverside County Supervisor Karen Spiegel, RTA Board Director Linda Molina, RCTC Chair Lloyd White, RCTC Executive Director Aaron Hake and RTA CEO Kristin Warsinski, were proud to represent the county and advocate for meaningful change.
