Angelo was referred to us through our partnership with NM Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and has been a joy in every department he has worked with during his #internship. From working with volunteers to whizzing around the warehouse, Angelo is a natural, and has picked up operating #forklifts faster than anyone! We are so pleased to be a part of his bright future. At #food #distributions, we run into people all the time. Many of them take a few moments to share a #story with us. Manuel shared, "Anything helps. I'm a retired chef. Been retired for 5 years. We help with my grandkids, and I have a lot of them. #Groceries are so expensive, and we don't qualify for much. Our #SNAP benefits each month are around $80, but we're often feeding our grandkids too, so #SNAP doesn't go as for all of us. The food we pick up here helps a lot and we are so grateful to have it."
