About us

Our mission is to empower people through technology to help create safer organizations. When it comes to safety, nothing is more important than being able to reach for help when you need it. That is why we designed our proprietary panic button solution for organizations that need to protect employees and others who may be at risk. It consists of proprietary technology that provides continuous coverage throughout a facility, even in dead zones to provide a lifeline when it is needed most. It operates independently of the facilities network, so it is always on. ROAR’s solution is the choice of major hotel chains and healthcare providers due to its ease of use, redundant backups, and maintainability.

According to a recent article from Becker's Healthcare, violence against nurses has surged to alarming heights. A shocking 56% of surveyed healthcare workers reported experiencing physical or verbal assault—or threats of violence in the 30 days prior. In response, the American Hospital Association (AHA) has announced a partnership with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Behavioral Health Analysis Unit to develop strategies to mitigate targeted violence in healthcare settings. This collaboration aims to promote violence prevention and establish stronger protections for healthcare facilities and their invaluable workforce. Healthcare is facing a crisis that demands immediate action to protect the wellbeing of dedicated healthcare professionals. We are committed to safeguarding healthcare teams that empower them to carry out their care with confidence and peace of mind. Our duress alert technology is designed to prevent, mitigate, and enable rapid response to incidents of workplace violence, ensuring the safety of patients, staff, and visitors alike.
