According to a recent article from Becker's Healthcare, violence against nurses has surged to alarming heights. A shocking 56% of surveyed healthcare workers reported experiencing physical or verbal assault—or threats of violence in the 30 days prior. In response, the American Hospital Association (AHA) has announced a partnership with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Behavioral Health Analysis Unit to develop strategies to mitigate targeted violence in healthcare settings. This collaboration aims to promote violence prevention and establish stronger protections for healthcare facilities and their invaluable workforce.
