The only disruption #AMRs should be focusing on is drastically improving how they serve people. If people invest in a system that involves heavy behavioral and operational adjustment, the adoption curve is steep. And with #laborshortage challenges, ease of use and path-to-scale have never been more important. 📈 Automation initiatives involve a variety of stakeholders within a business. This diverse cross-section needs technology that works, is easily understood, and even more easily communicated. These requirements dictate the design and evolution of Carter™. 🤖 🤝 Remember: Behind every #deployment are teams of people trying to hit their goals. 📊 Inspiring image brought to you by John Bleau

On a scale of 1-10, the importance of easily mapping and remapping your environment is an 11. Physical environments - and the people at work in them - need more fluidity from #automationsolutions. They need easy ways to make frequent changes, ensuring workflows can run at the speed of their business. Carter™ brings #AI that is ready to make an impact on Day 1 - and adapt to whatever Day 2 or 200 demands.

What does an optimal carton set look like using Carter™? Our partner Paccurate put together a great walk-thru video to show success metrics and operational improvements made possible with PacSimulate + Carter. These metrics include: capacity, transportation cost, volume utilization, and corrugate savings. These systems can work together to achieve greater #efficiency, as well as some green gains! Thanks for sharing, James Roberge.

I've mentioned this before, but cartonization plays a crucial role in your warehouse ecosystem, especially when considering automation. Watch this quick 7-minute video showcasing how customers are utilizing Paccurate's PacSimulate to assess AMR solutions, with Robust.AI as an example. If you want to enhance your AMR order capacity, cut down on transportation expenses, and minimize corrugate/fillers, let us assist you in optimizing your fleet! #cartonization #AMRoptimization #Paccurate

There are some amazing speakers at this year's The Atlantic festival. This two-day event in DC brings together the world's most influential minds to take on our most pressing, consequential topics in healthcare, science, tech, policy and more. So Rodney Brooks will fit right in. Being at such a large inflection point with #AI and how it impacts society as a whole, we are so excited to have Rodney representing our industry - and the greater technology community - at #TAF24. 🤖 💪

In robotics/automation in the industrial space, we've seen ebbs, flows, success, failures - and everything in between. But where do YOU think the industry is at this point in time - with the solutions available or in progress - when it comes to #evolution and #adoption for AMRs? Not so simple to answer? Share your #perspective in the comments.

When #robotsforhumans becomes a "tired" concept people are sick of seeing and hearing about, it will be a substantial victory for not just our industry - but industry as a whole. 🏆 People and robots coexisting in a range of physical environments - where people lead and robots serve. This is our driving (and self-driving) force, and we believe we'll get there. 🤖 Happy Future-Forward Friday! **Image credit to the talented John Bleau

The period for a robot to orbit the Sun increases rapidly with the radius of its orbit. 🤖 ☀ You're right. That's Kepler. What is the common thread between his third law and Rodney Brooks' third law of robotics? TIME. ⏳ "Technologies for robots need 10+ years of steady improvement beyond lab demos of the target tasks to mature to low cost and to have their limitations characterized well enough that they can deliver 99.9 percent of the time. Every 10 more years gets another 9 in reliability." #robotdevelopment requires a diligence and patience our software-eaten world struggles to understand. But the closer a robot's perceived distance from our burning ball of ROI, the quicker it takes to reach broad acceptance and adoption. "It takes time to see how well the method works, and to characterize it well enough that it is unlikely to fail in a deployed robot that is working by itself in the real world...it takes many more years of shaking out the problem areas and building it into the robot product in a defensive way, so that the failure does not happen again."

6 short weeks until RoboBusiness. 'New Levels of Collaboration' keynote from our own Rodney Brooks to kick it all off on 10/16, a great lineup of speakers and exhibitors, the Women in Robotics lunch on 10/17, demo and networking opportunities throughout, and a live demo of a swallowable robotic pill to close it out? Yup. Our team hopes to see you there! 🤖 🤝

How many times have you used Docusign and not given it any thought? This understated solution improved the manual 'signing and approving of things' process forever in 2003. People could move faster. A universal process was simplified because the solution just WORKED. 💪 Robotics and automation technology continue to get similar results, but in spurts. We believe, deeply, that these solutions will reach Docusign-like status. The key is minding the human-sized gap: Solving for existing, tangible problems, with robots that work and people that win. There's a difference between building things to do jobs and designing solutions for people.

Is a solution actually a solution if there is inherent difficulty? User experience isn't a nice-to-have. Strong #design should never be an add-on. Solution design and HRI (human-robot interaction) don't just inspire features on Carter™, they guide everything we do as a business, team, and human-centric solution provider. A product takes thought - a solution takes #intention.
