Dave, co-director of Roca’s Rewire4 program, draws from his roots in a family of police officers to make a real impact. Teaching a non-clinical version of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), he helps officers recognize and break their spinning cycles, with the goal of boosting emotional regulation and self-control—vital skills for today’s law enforcement. We're proud to share that last Thursday Roca participated in the "Feed the Funnel" event at Encore Boston Harbor! Our team joined forces with other volunteers to measure, pack, and assemble nutritious meals to those in need. Together, we helped work towards the incredible goal of packaging 500,000 meals over just three days! #RocaInc #FeedTheFunnel

Roca staff and young people from Boston and Chelsea were on hand last week for Governor Healey’s (Office of Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey) ceremonial signing of legislation significantly enhancing MA gun safety laws. “An Act Modernizing Firearms Laws” gives law enforcement the tools to crackdown on untraceable ghost guns and expands the state’s red flag law. We applaud the Legislature, including House Judiciary Chair Michael Day and Senate Majority Leader Cynthia Creem, for their diligent efforts to protect our young people and all of the public from gun violence!

We are grateful for a donation received from Saks Fifth Avenue Stores (SFA) in honor of Will Dawkins, a Springfield, MA native and the general manager of the Washington Wizards. More importantly, we appreciate Mr. Dawkins embracing the opportunity to drive positive change from a most unfortunate incident, and Saks Fifth Avenue for listening to Mr. Dawkins and taking action. https://hubs.la/Q02JqFRJ0
