Shannon has received two cornea transplants, one in her twenties and one as a mom of four boys. Because of her gifts of restored sight, Shannon doesn’t play small with life – she is grateful every day, says yes often, loves sports and discovering new things like MMA with her boys. Jaime Tellez-Gonzalez who received a cornea transplant at the age of 7 shared his appreciation for the gift of sight with nurses at Boulder Community Health. He expressed appreciation for the work they do.
