In a milestone moment for one of the fastest-growing companies in the state, JAG Physical Therapy opened its 150th location with a ribbon-cutting in New Brunswick. The company, which began with just a single outlet in 2003, has grown quickly. And while there are some locations outside of New Jersey, the great majority are here. “Twenty-one years ago, I started the company in a small 1,800 square foot facility in West Orange, New Jersey,” Founder and CEO John Gallucci Jr. said. “I told my wife that one day, we were going to be the largest provider of outpatient physical therapy services in New Jersey and New York, and here we are opening up our 150th location.” https://lnkd.in/eXSH78ef

Centenary University President Dale Caldwell has been named to the NCAA Division III Presidents Council, the highest governing body in DIII athletics. The appointment was effective Oct. 1 – and perhaps long overdue. Caldwell was a scholar-athlete himself, competing in tennis at Princeton. He also was the first Black president and CEO of the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Eastern Section in 2006. “As a former student-athlete, I understand the importance of ensuring that today’s student-athletes have all the support they need to succeed academically, athletically, and later, in the workplace,” he said.

The need for cold storage is not often the first thought when thinking about food pantries. But it’s just as important as shelves to store dry goods. That’s why Fulfill, the Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties, recently announced its Freeze Out Hunger Campaign, a comprehensive fundraising initiative that will support key initiatives, including the expansion of Fulfill’s Neptune Warehouse – including the addition of a 12,000-square feet of cold storage space. The expansion of the current 43,000-square-foot warehouse will enable to Fulfill to store more protein, produce and dairy items.

The deal, arranged by JLL, comes for property at 385 Rifle Camp Road, an ideal redevelopment site that benefits from its proximity to Interstate 80 and routes 46 and 3. The roads are just one plus. The land also has perfect views of the New York City skyline and easy access to schools, shopping and recreation, including more than 300 acres of dedicated park space at nearby Garret Mountain Reservation.

Blindfolded dinners … comedy nights … whodunit murder mysteries … professional chef cook-offs … even brunch on a boat. Sounds fun. Sounds crazy. It actually sounds like celebrity chef David Burke. The internationally awarded Burke, known for pushing boundaries and starting trends, has raised the bar for fine dining yet again with his “experiential dining” experiences, bringing these concepts to his New Jersey restaurants. Staying ahead in the very competitive hospitality industry is what has kept Burke successful – and people entertained. “(People) often have only one night a week to enjoy themselves,” he said. “They don’t want to rush through a great dinner then drive to another location to catch a show. At my restaurants, they have the luxury of having a comfortable, designated table, a first-class dinner and entertainment. It suits today’s busy lifestyles.”
