Our client, Yvonne Ambrose, continues to turn her pain into purpose - and spoke last week about the sex trafficking and murder of her 16-year-old daughter Desiree Robinson to help thousands of members of law enforcement learn from her fight for justice. Yvonne spoke at the annual conference of the Illinois Homicide Investigators Association in Itasca along with Cook County Asst. State's Attorney Kelly Grekstas, FBI Special Agent Michael Barker, FBI Special Agent Jonathan Williamson and former FBI Special Agent Carrie Landau. Managing and Senior Partner Gina Arquilla DeBoni and Partner Bhavani Raveendran continue to advocate for Yvonne through civil litigation. They are also proud of her success several years ago, testifying to a U.S. Senate Committee and being present when the President signed significant internet safety reforms for children into law.

Founding Partner Stephan Blandin, Partners Joseph E. Kolar and Michael Holden and Attorney Michelle DiSilvestro presented last week at a University of Illinois Chicago School of Law Lunch and Learn, answering questions on the practice of medical malpractice and personal injury litigation. Stephan moderated a question-and-answer session, allowing students to learn about practicing in these legal areas and to discuss with the attorneys the sensitivities of handling these cases.

Romanucci & Blandin is pleased to share that Attorney Michelle DiSilvestro and co-counsel obtained a $1 million policy limits settlement from a Kansas based aviation company for the death of a pilot.
