2023 World Food Prize Laureate | Founder, Roots of Peace

THE WORLD FOOD PRIZE LAUREATE✨💫 Proud to arrive in Des Moines, Iowa this week to attend the World Food Prize Foundation #foodprize23 event in the heartland of America! I am deeply humbled and honored to be selected as the 2023 Laureate—Nobel Prize for Food and Agriculture. My husband, Gary A Kuhn has worked shoulder-to-shoulder with me for over a quarter of a century to help feed millions of farmers and families living in war-torn lands. Together, we planted over seven (7) million fruit frees with our Roots of Peace team—cultivating sustainable peace through agriculture. Each tree planted provides fruit for future generations to thrive! All our Kuhn children—Brooks, Tucker Kühn, Kyleigh & Christian W. Kühn—have walked the minefields of the world with their parents with full hearts, as we strive to alleviate suffering of families living on war-torn lands. This week, I will accept this prestigious World Food Prize Award on behalf of our Kuhn family, our Roots of Peace team, and families living around the world who are greatly suffering from the perils of war. Now, more than ever, the world needs peace…✨🙏💫
