Women entrepreneurs are driving change—but financial resilience is key! 💰 Short-term stability? Only 16% of women would use business specific savings in a crisis, with most others relying on personal savings or borrowing. 📱 Digital tools? Only half of respondents use digital tools for their business. 💳 Debt stress? Over 70% worry about loan repayment. CARE’s Strive Women program, supported by Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth, is equipping women with the financial tools they need to thrive. Stronger businesses mean stronger futures. 🔍 See how we can build long-term resilience together. 👉 Explore the report now: https://ow.ly/OvM050VhxTp #WomensHistoryMonth #FinancialResilience #StriveWomen

While marking the start of the deadly conflict that tore apart so many lives, this week millions of Syrians continue to cling to cautious hope that stability may return following the fall of Assad’s regime in December 2024. However, humanitarian needs remain immense and the recent shocking violence in various parts of the country threatens their fragile peace. https://ow.ly/Vz1650VhuEE

The level of destruction caused by Tropical #CycloneJude is truly frightening. I heard from our team in #Mozambique, led by Katia dos Santos Dias, that most of the bridges are gone, and the roads have been completely eroded. It's heart-wrenching to hear that we can no longer access #CaboDelgado by road as the bridge there has been washed away. This devastation is a stark reminder of the urgent need for continued support, resilience, and preparedness for disasters. CARE teams and partners are working tirelessly find ways to deliver #humanitarian assistance to people those are affected, but the challenges are immense. As we process this latest disaster, my thoughts are with the people of Mozambique and those on the front lines, as they navigate this crisis. #HumanitarianResponse #Resilience #AnticipatoryAction #Aid

#Syria is beginning to recover after 13 years of war and recent escalations in violence that have left countless lives uprooted and a country in ruins. But amid the rubble, there is resilience and hope. CARE’s Chief Humanitarian Officer, Deepmala Mahla, Ph. D, recently traveled to Syria, witnessing both the devastation and the determination of its people to rebuild. Families are returning. Communities are coming together. But the needs remain urgent—shelter, water, healthcare, and safety for survivors.

Sudan’s crisis is escalating. Over 30 million people need urgent aid, with 64% of the population facing hunger and displacement. Programs feeding displaced children are closing due to a funding shortfall. The world must act now to prevent more suffering and loss of life. https://ow.ly/S8zA50VgJoz
