About us
“Service above Self” is the motto of the Loveland Rotary Club which was founded by caring and compassionate leaders in 1920. The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service has deeply benefitted Loveland for more than 100 years. Club members meet weekly to socialize, learn from outside speakers, and plan service activities. Today, the club focuses on projects to improve the health and education of the youth in the Loveland Community, to provide community and international disaster assistance, and provide funding for worthy programs and activities throughout Loveland. Financial support is provided through our own charitable organization (501c3), the Loveland Rotary Club Foundation. In addition to donations from Rotarians and funds raised through annual events such as our Rubber Duck Race and the Governor’s Art Show, donations are accepted from people and organizations throughout the region. Loveland Rotary Club is part of Rotary International that aids people in developing countries and encourages peaceful solutions to world problems through its 46,000+ clubs worldwide. A prime example is the Polio Plus program in which Rotary International has raised more than 1 billion dollars to eradicate polio throughout the world. Rotarians are proud that they have almost achieved that goal. Loveland Rotary consists of men and women of all ages, races, and backgrounds who want to serve our community and the world in which we live.

Music is a rare thing that brings people together, even if just for a few minutes. It is a universal way to communicate messages and feelings. Ann Bunyan and her late husband have been supporters of music for decades and most recently set up a scholarship fund through the Rotary Club of Loveland. This scholarship helps young adults achieve their dreams of being professional musicians, singers, and more! This past week, the Rotary Club of Loveland announced that Ann Bunyan was the recipient of this year's Citizen of the Year! Congratulations Ann!

Rotarians will always "hear the bells" ~ but especially this time of year. "I hear the bells on Christmas Day, their old familiar carols play, and wild and sweet the words repeat of peace on earth, goodwill to men! -Henry Wadsworth Longfellow Happy Holidays from the Rotary Club of Loveland! #rotaryclubofloveland #happyholidays #rotary #hearthebells

To keep wildlife wild, the Environmental Committee of the Rotary Club of Loveland collaborated with the Heart J Center for Experiential Learning to install wildlife guzzlers in the far reaches of their property. This gives wildlife access to water while staying away from roadsides and the main area of the Sylvan Dale Ranch where there could be human interactions. Additionally, there were wildlife cameras installed to share the ecosystem of the foothills and Rockies of Northern Colorado with youth to educate the next generation of nature enthusiasts and conservationists. Please enjoy footage of some of the animals enjoying the guzzlers. Footage: Heart-J Center at Sylvan Dale Ranch #rotaryclubofloveland #wildlifeguzzlers #heartjcenter #sylvandale #lovelandcolorado

The Rotary Club of Loveland honored Veterans and Active Service Military Members at last week's meeting on November 7th. Rotarian Bob Eatman gave a tremendous inspirational reflection as a Veteran himself. The main program speaker was Colonel Gregg Johnson from the United States Air Force who educated the club on the Air Force's ROTC Program with Colorado State University and the University of Northern Colorado. While most recruits go on to serve in the Air Force, the program also feeds into the United States Space Force. From the Rotary Club of Loveland, thank you Veterans and active duty service members for your courage and strength! #rotaryclubofloveland #veteransday #serviceaboveself
