The joy of seeing kids encourage each other, the pride in their voices saying, "Look at me, I’m doing it!"—our Denver and Loveland teams at McWhinney experienced it all during our recent volunteer day with Wish for Wheels. 🌟 The non-profit organization partners with businesses like McWhinney to provide new bikes and helmets to second graders, helping foster healthy habits, confidence, independence, and a love for biking in underserved communities. This special opportunity allowed us to give back to our community while connecting with the kids and each other. We are incredibly honored to partner with Wish for Wheels to make a difference in these students' lives at Swansea Elementary and Winona Elementary School in Colorado. What a fun design tour last week of the Milk Market, Dairy Block and Blake's Passage, hosted by the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) Rocky Mountain Chapter. The design team including the architects, lighting designers, controls specialists, manufacturers and clients gave some really insightful perspectives to our University of Colorado Boulder lighting students on the integrated design process and project execution. Special shout-out to McWHINNEY for allowing us to use your space and presenters Lisa Bartlett, IALD, Guadalupe Cantu, Sara Sullivan, Blythe von Reckers, and Mike Bogomolov. And thanks to the CU staff Sandra Vasconez and Jennifer Scheib for coordinating a great turn out of students! The other IALD Coordinator staff, including Lisa Bartlett, IALD, Harmon Lee, Jack Koch, Sarah Donald, Daniel Rory Harvey, Raymond Veillette, David Kelley and I were delighted to connect with you all!

We had an incredible turnout yesterday for our first meeting of the year, co-hosted with the DU Hotel Real Estate Club!
