Rotary District 5960

Rotary was founded in 1905 as the world's first volunteer service organization. Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who come together to make positive, lasting change in communities at home and abroad District 5960 encompasses St. Paul and her Eastern suburbs, southeastern Minnesota, and much of western Wisconsin. Our 64 clubs ( St. Paul, club #10 in the Rotary world) have approximately 3,300 members. District 5960 exemplifies the Service Above Self mission of Rotary. We are a strong supporter of The Rotary Foundation, and active in its many programs. For the past several years, we have supported two Group Study Exchange programs annually. The Rotary Club of White Bear Lake originated STRIVE, which promotes individual pride and confidence among students in the lower third of their secondary classes, and provides scholarships to those who make the most progress.
