What a brilliant and invigorating fireside discussion with Sir Richard Branson atop Virgin Hotels NYC this morning. We discussed why #socialjustice matters and the power #businessleaders have to influence policy and perception on the issues that matter today, like the #deathpenalty. Richard was in rare form, sharing stories from his incredible life, including the rescue mission securing the release of hostages in the lead up to the initial Guld War; his work to secure the release of death row inmates cleared of wrongdoing; his relationships with the Global Elders; and how his humanitarian work brings meaning in his life as well as within his companies. Richard Branson is a legend, perhaps most well known for being a business maverick, an adventure seeking daredevil, and the founding pioneer behind the Virgin empire.
