Green hydrogen is one of the key pillars of the energy transition as a carrier, but its production and storage come with significant challenges. This is where Thermal Energy Storage (TES) technology plays a crucial role: 🌱 Maximized efficiency in electrolysis. TES may recover residual heat from the process to optimize hydrogen production. 🌞 Better renewable energy integration. It stores energy from sources like solar and wind to ensure stable production, even under variable conditions. 🔋 Scalability and sustainability. The recent Winter School, held in Lisbon, brought together industry experts and PhD students to discuss the latest advancements in materials for energy and their role in the transition to a more sustainable future.   🔬🩷 RPow was proudly represented by our colleague Julieta Rocio Iribarne, who took part in this high-level academic and professional event. On the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, we want to highlight her work and that of so many other women who are transforming the energy sector with their talent and dedication.   ⚡ The energy transition and innovation require the contributions of brilliant minds from all sectors of society.
