A culmination of two years of relentless effort and dedication. It’s incredible to see how she has not only succeeded academically but is also growing into a true leader. Rubicon Investments Corporation has seen unprecedented growth under Daniel Bunn’s leadership. Since becoming CEO in 2015 at the age of 29, he has more than doubled assets under management in the fourth-generation family owned business. The company now owns and manages approximately $250M in real estate assets in the Pacific Northwest, focusing on institutional tenants, primarily the State of Oregon and regional medical systems. Daniel’s focus over the past 8 years on execution and delivering quality projects have allowed the company’s growth to continue significantly. 2023 was a banner year for Rubicon. It entered a new market for itself, affordable housing, is building two projects on Oregon’s southern coast (Gold Beach and Brookings), and increased top line revenue by 17.9%. In addition to setting company strategy and overseeing execution, Daniel’s responsibilities as CEO include effective capital allocation, optimizing resources for diverse projects, managing relationships with clients and investors, and empowering his team. Daniel has recently been tapped by Governor Tina Kotek to advise her office on one of the most pressing issues our state currently faces: increasing affordable housing. Daniel’s historic charitable leadership includes: Director for Southern Oregon’s Community Action Agency, Director for Medford Water Commission, Co-founder of Rubicon Community Foundation and many more.
